Frankly speaking, every person wants to have a lot of money. We think that wealthy people are happy because they have luxurioushouses, cars, motors, computers... They can make their dreams come true, travel around the world... They are beautiful because they can indulge in the best clothes, cosmetics. They can go to hairdressers or beauticians very often. They don't have any complexes, because they can change their appearance thanks to plastic surgeries.
Generally, we think that having money means being happy, always being young and having interesting live, good health and a lot of friends.
So we try to make money and we do it in many different ways. Some people work a lot and save money. I think that the thrift is a very good feature, but within reasonable limits. My father is this kind of person and sometimes I don't understand him. He doesn't want to have a new item of clothing (albo po prostu clothes) or something refined to eat, because he still thinks about the future – about our holidays, about the car that he would like to buy... But our life is unforeseeable, we don't know how long we will be on this world so in my opinion money should be the way to give us or other people pleasure by buying something new from time to time. Incessant thinking about the sum, which we have in the bank account does not give happiness, it increases anxiety and causes that we leave behind about the most important matters.
There is no doubt that money changes people. Rarely for better, more often for worse.
We stop thinking about friends and we can easily loose them. Eventually, when we truly need them they are not there for us and we can’t really blame them. Life without friends is sometimes very difficult and everyone who had experienced that would probably never want that to happen again. Being rich is also very often connected with being famous which at the beginning may be fun but after a while it starts to annoy you – when you don't have any privacy. It’s also easy to loose all the money we have. Nowadays there’s some kind of a psychological factor telling us to try to make more and more money. That’s why many people start gambling . No sooner do they stop then they’ve lost everything. That’s how the alcoholism and all kinds of depressions appear.
But the most important fact is that the money can’t buy love. We know that ”love” is the most marvelous affection in whole world. We need long time to fall in love and that is why it is really deep feeling. We can not just pay and fall in love with somebody or force somebody to fall in love with us.
Finally, I would like to say that we dream of money, because it makes our life easier, and maybe happier. We should make money in the way we like, but of course not by cheating, because it's immoral. But we should remember that there are many things which are important and which give us real happiness and we can't buy them for money.
