You describe an evening you have recently spent with your friends who wanted to eat out.

Last weekend my friends from out of town came to visit me. They are a married couple with two children but this time they had decided to leave them with their Grandma. Bob and Ellen told me on the phone that they wanted to spend a nice time away from home, doing things that they don't normally do. Having heard this, I planned the whole weekend. I decided to take them on a tour around the city. We were supposed to go for a walk in the Old Town, have a nice meal in a restaurant and then see a play in the theatre. However, when my friends arrived, they were not particularly satisfied with the schedule I had prepared. The only point they did not object to was the dinner in a restaurant. Unfortunately, the Chinese place that is among my favourites apparently was not to their liking. They said they wished to try something new this time and asked me to find an establishment that served sushi. When we finally sat at the table and looked at the menu, they had the nerve to tell me that the restaurant was too expensive for them. I was close to losing my patience completely, but what could I do? I just sighed heavily and got up. It was already pretty late, so we ended up eating hamburgers in a shabby little bar. I couldn't be more relieved when Bob and Ellen left on Sunday. They turned out to be very troublesome guests.
