Recently, I have seen “Angels & Demons”. This film was directed by Ron Howard. The cast is very strong because the stars are Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon, Ayelet Zurer as Vittoria Vetra and Ewan McGregor as Carlo Ventresca. The work is based on Dan Brown’s books. The film is set in the present. The plot is thrilling.
Meet Robert Langdon – the famous historian who is also the professor of Harvard. The story begins with kidnapping a few cardinals who are candidates to become the pope. The “Angels & Demons” is set in the Vatican.
Robert Langdon finds out that the Illumantis kidnapped the cardinals. The Illumantis are secret society, but what do they want?
Although, it is rather a long film, the movie is gripping and you can’t sit in one place watching it. The script is exciting, but not too much straightforward.
I would recommend “Angels & Demons” to young people, who like films fully of mistery. This movie is well worth seeing. If you have read the book, you will feel a little disappointed.

I am a fun of Dan Brown's novels and I was very disappointed with the movie. It wasn't even half as good as the book. I feel sorry for Tom Hanks because he is an amazing actor but watching Angels&Demons felt like a complete waste of time. Boring :(
