W wypadku zdań z czasownikiem 'be' używa się inwersji, czyli zamiany podmiotu i czasownika 'be'

Oczywiście inwersja nie dotyczy tylko czasu Present Simple jak w powyższych przykładach, ale również Present Continuous, Past Continuous, czy Past Simple czyli wszystkich czasach, gdzie występuje czasownik 'be'.

Zwróć uwagę, iż w wypadku gdy w zdaniu nie ma czasownika 'być', w czasie Present Simple pytania tworzy się z użyciem czasownika pomocniczego 'do', 'does', a w czasie Past Simple - 'did'
