Postanowiłam dodać przykładowe opowiadanie (narrative) mojego autorstwa. Może pomoże komuś w zrozumieniu co powinno się uwzględnić w takim opowiadaniu, np. interesting, attention-gripping phrases, creating a mystery, description of emotions, senses. i to wszystko w limicie 300 słów. mam nadzieje że się przyda, pozdrawiam :)
The girl hung up, kneeled by the stove again, and lighted the match. She didn’t know though, that there was another man in the office, watching every move she made...
Staring at the burning match she had this weird facial expression as if this moment made her feel upset. The man approached her from behind, leaned against the mantelpiece, then looked at her with disappointment and suddenly shouted out furiously ‘Why did you lie?!’ The girl turned round frightened to death and scared stiff. ‘I saw you doing it’ the man continued. ‘You’re busted now, you won’t produce a new alibi, no one trusts you anymore, this is over’.
She barely pulled herself together, stood up and muttered ‘I have no idea what you’re talking about.’ ‘Of course you don’t, as always’ he responded cynically. ‘Come with me, we need to talk… and take that nickel from the table, you shouldn’t leave any trail if you don’t want to end up like your sister.” The pretty secretary, trying not to demonstrate her anxiety, followed the man into the corridor. They went outside. She could finally grab some fresh air to pull herself through and think clearer. A moment later, they were heading for the man’s house in the suburbs of New York. The girl was stunned as her plan was completely thwarted. She remained silent as a grave while the man was talking on the phone.
‘I found her, it wasn’t as hard as you said it would be.’ The man announced proudly. ‘No, she didn’t get rid of them, but it was close. She wanted to burn them in her office..” He denied with relief. ‘We’ll catch the first plane tomorrow morning. Could you call the airport for me and book two tickets to L.A please?” …
