I've had a pretty unusual day today. After classes I decided to do some sightseeing. After all, I need to take advantage of the fact that I am currently staying in the cultural capital of Western Europe. I couldn't choose between the Big Ben and Madame Tussauds, but I finally made up my mind to visit the latter one. I was walking along the aisles filled with the wax figures of famous people, admiring the craftsmanship of their creators and wondering how they make them look so real. I had my camera with me but there was no one to take my photo. I had to ask one of the other visitors and so I came up to a man that was standing with his back towards me. He was carefully examining the figure of Michael Caine. I tapped him on the shoulder and politely asked if he would help me out. He took the camera out of my hand and said “Cheese!”. As he walked away I realized that his face was strangely familiar. Was it somebody I knew from the school, one of the professors maybe? Then I took one more look at the figure in front of me and it struck me. The man WAS Michael Caine. Flesh and blood! I couldn't believe my luck. I immediately called my parents from a phone booth and had them tell all my cousins and friends. It was the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me.
